Lehigh Valley Life

There are two aspects to your life.

 Your Work Life

 Your Personal Life

Life & DC Connect takes a dual-approach in helping you transition into your new position at Lehigh University. Our goal is to help you foster a long-term sense of belonging within both the university and the local community. Aside from spousal/partner career assistance, there is a need as both a candidate and new-hire to expand your own personal network. We invite you to explore our Lehigh Valley Life page to help you and your family transition in to your new community. This support is designed to help guide you with information relating to local businesses, schools, civic and volunteer organizations, and other community resources.

ASK ABOUT LINC!

Lehigh University is a member of  the Lehigh Valley Inter-Regional  Networking & Connecting Consortium (LINC) to help you further with dual career assistance and community transition.  LINC uses a personal approach to help you and your family as you transition in the region. LINC provides needed information and recommended connections to help alleviate our relocation stresses and concerns.

Over the course of one year, LINC serves

  • As a point of contact to answer your questions
  • As a reference to identify needed resources
  • As a connector to area business, community, and employment networks

LINC is an employer referral based program. If you would like to learn more about how LINC can help you transition into the Lehigh Valley region, please contact Lehigh’s Faculty Dual Career Program—Life & DC Connect at dualcareer@lehigh.edu .
